Navarrenx set above the Gave d’Oloron is a fine example of the local bastides

Salies de Béarn famous for its salt, celebrated with its own festival each summer

Medieval Sauveterre de Béarn sits high above the Gave d’Oloron

France is famous for its markets and they can be found in all the local towns

Edward and Judith are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble.  We had a marvellous time with them.
